Last night kids had their say in what’s hot in music at the 2011 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. Turns out their tastes aren’t that different than ours. The Black Eyed Peas opened the show performing “The Time (Dirty Bit)” and “Just Can’t Get Enough” with host Jack Black joining them in a neon costume of his own. (The recent American Idol performers took home a Best Music Group award, too.) But even more fun was Justin Bieber’s “lil sis” Willow Smith (not surprisingly, also gussied up in futuristic attire) flying over the crowd singing “21st Century Girl,” then landing back on Earth for a rousing rendition of the still-awesome “Whip My Hair.” Check out both clips below.
