Watch The First ‘CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story’ Trailer

Back in May we did a double take when we saw the first cast photo from VH1′s CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story, and today we’ve gone deeper into the uncanny valley with the first official teaser for the TLC TV movie. Up top, Lil Mama (Left Eye), Keke Palmer (Chilli) and Drew Sidora (T-Boz) are seen depicting the iconic R&B trio all the way from the beginning and into the FanMail era. Each has the mannerisms and style down, and Sidora certainly channels that signature T-Boz rasp.

From what we can see, the movie consists of a whole bunch of music video remakes (including reenactments of classics like “Creep,” “Waterfalls” and “No Scrubs”), which is slightly unsettling and seems kind of tacky and unnecessary. But hey, the movie was executive produced by T-Boz and Chilli, so they’re cool with it, and I guess that’s all that matters.

CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story airs on VH1 on October 21.
