Usher raised temperatures with “Good Kisser” but the Pop Wansel-produced slow jam failed to do much damage on the Billboard Hot 100 — stalling (thus far) at number 66. The R&B icon is hoping to kickstart buzz for album number eight by releasing a frantic electronic remix courtesy of Disclosure, who currently have a huge hit on their hands with “Latch”.
The combination sounds great in theory and the remix delivers the goods. The English brothers certainly know how to introduce a soulful voice into an electronic soundscape (take one listen to Disclosure’s collaborations with Mary J. Blige and Sam Smith) and the song really comes to life amid the multi-layered synths. Listen to the new and improved “Good Kisser” after the jump.
