Tyra Banks began season five of her talk show today by showing her real hair, without her weave or a wig! Check out Tyra’s natural hair below.

For weeks now, Tyra has said she was going to reveal her real hair on national television and she did!

Tyra came out on stage with her natural hair, and it was wet. She then let audience members touch her real hair to verify there was no weave. And the audience watched as Tyra had her real hair styled. Banks declared today “National Real Hair Day”.

Her goal was to challenge people to “be brave enough to show it to everybody on national television.”
