Tony Romo recently dumped Jessica Simpson the night before her 29th birthda, and is now making certain his ex will not be allowed near his Dallas home. Read more on this story below.
US Weekly has reported that the Dallas Cowboys quarterback has instructed security to keep his ex Jessica Simpson out of his gated community.
A sign at the entrance of Romo’s gated community reportedly reads: “RED ALERT!!! TONY ROMO HAS MADE SOME CHANGES TO HIS LIST OF PEOPLE ALLOWED IN….JESSICA IS NO LONGER ON THE LIST AND NOT APPROVED FOR ACCESS.
But Jessica Simpson didn’t want to stick around after their split. Simpson paid around $20,000 to ship 37 boxes of her belongings from Dallas to Los Angesls overnight.
The couple began dating in November of 2007, and called it quits earlier this month. The cause of their split was the constant pressure Jessica put on Tony Romo to marry her.
A friend of Romo’s was quoted as saying, “It’s been a long time coming.”
But their split actually surprised Romo’s teammates. “I thought they would…tie the knot,” Terrell Owens, who slammed Simpson for being a “jinx,” told Ryan Seacrest.
Jessica Simpson has been working out again with a personal trainer in L.A. and has been going out with her friends and her mother.
Jessica recently wrote on Twitter:
“Everyone needs to know that hope floats…grab the strings and pull it back to you… Falling asleep with my mom and the dogs. Please, Lord, give all of my beautiful fans, friends, enemies, and family rest. Bring all of us peace.”
