Tiger Woods is reportedly lending a hand to earthquake-ravaged Haiti, according to Russell Simmons’ Twitter page. Read more on Woods’ humanitarian efforts below.

Russell Simmons reported that Tiger Woods was helping the impoverished country of Haiti after their devastating earthquake. He wrote on his Twitter page, “Tiger woods is doing something AMAZING!!!!”

“I heard tiger woods donating to send a cargo plane with a mobile hospital out there. Keep ur prayers high!,” Russell Tweeted yesterday.

If the rumor is true, Tiger won’t be the first celebrity to help Haiti.  Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie donated $1 million toward Haiti earthquake relief, and many other public figures are donating their time or money to the victims.

This show of kindness from Tiger towards people in need could do quite a bit for his damaged reputation… don’t you think?
