AT&T made an announcement today that it is terminating their endorsement deal with the scandalous Tiger Woods, even though the contract was supposed to be for several years. Read more on Tiger Woods losing another endorsement deal below.
Tiger Woods continues to lose major endorsements and AT&T is the latest. Other companies that have nixed their deals with Woods include Accenture, and Gilette. Other companies such as Pepsi, Nike, and Electronic Arts have stayed quiet or said they are sticking with the shamed golf pro.
“We are ending our sponsorship agreement with Tiger Woods and wish him well in the future,” an AT&T spokesman said.
Since Tiger Woods’ bad publicity came to light, sponsors have yanked advertisements featuring Tiger Woods.
Woods’ sex scandal and decision to leave golf has cost him close to $12 billion.
