The Wanted Drop “We Own The Night”: Listen

db9ba2f11e59a0686918bcab480fa548 The Wanted Drop “We Own The Night”: Listen

The Wanted are trying to take back the night from Justin Timberlake today (August 5), debuting their new single “We Own The Night.” Despite the molly-channeling artwork and title, musically the song is pretty restrained. In fact, it sort of feels like some old Scottish drinking chant, with the bagpipe sounds and  ”la la la” refrain. It’s definitely fit for singing along with a few mugs of beer in hand (not sure how many fans of The Wanted are swigging beer steins, though).

As for the whether you’d want to sing along to these lyrics, well, that’s up to you: the fellas may have gone overboard trying to out-“Live While We’re Young” One Direction. Hear it below.

“We Own The Night” is available for purchase globally on August 11, and their new album Word Of Mouth is out September 16 in the UK.
