Twilight star Taylor Lautner and country singer Taylor Swift have broken up after dating several months, according to US Magazine. Read more on the Taylor and Taylor split below.

Actor Taylor Lautner and singer Taylor Swift made such a cute couple but media reports have stated the couple has already split.

“It wasn’t really developing into anything, and wasn’t going to, so they decided they were better as friends,” a source close to Swift, 20, tells Us. “There was no chemistry.”

Taylor and Taylor met on the set of their romantic comedy called “Valentine’s Day”. The couple has been spotted together at her concerts.  Both stars alluded to their romance as they hosted Saturday Night Live.

Friends said that when Taylor Lautner, 17, flew to Nashville for Taylor Swift’s birthday party on Dec. 13, their relationship seemed to fizzle out.

“He liked her more than she liked him,” the source tells Us. “He went everywhere he could to see her, but she didn’t travel much to see him.”

But the Taylor’s obviously ended things amicably.

“They plan to stay friends,” the source says.
