Taylor Swift dominated the world with her fourth album, 2012′s Red. Off the strength of that record, she embarked her third worldwide tour that launched last spring and ends a year later, with her June 12 concert in Singapore.
In anticipation of that date, Swift revealed to Shanghai press what’s to come next – a new album. “I’ve already been working very hard at it, and it’s already my favorite thing I’ve ever created,” she said. “So the idea [is] that after Asia, I get to go back and finish everything and get everything completely done and wrapped up for a new project, it’s very exciting.”
Swift also says that the intentions behind her music haven’t changed – that is, expect her to be just as confessional as she’s always been. “I think I really just love the unity it brings me and the audience, because chances are they’ve felt the exact same way I felt when I wrote the song and I think it kind of reminds everyone — and it reminds me — that the human experience isn’t so lonely,” she says.
