Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel welcomed their first child, a son, on Wednesday. Read more on Diggs and Menzel’s baby boy below!
Taye and Idina announced the pregnancy in March, and welcomed son Walker Diggs. Their reps made a statement saying, “Mother, father and son are all doing well.”
Taye, the “Private Practice” actor, had a few names they liked in mind, but wanted to see the baby before they made their final decision.
“We have a couple [of names] in the running,” the actor explained. “But part of us wants to see what he hits us with when we see him. We’ll see what he looks like.”
Diggs met the Tony award-winning actress, Idina Menzel, both 38, in the original 1996 Broadway production of “Rent.” They were married in January 2003.
