If you checked out our spring playlist featuring the hottest imports from around the world, then you know that deep house is alive and well in the club and on the radio in 2014. In the months since then, a few of the cuts we featured in the previous roundup, such as “Hideaway” by Canadian singer Kiesza and “Rather Be” by Brits Clean Bandit and Jess Glynne, have gone on to be hits here in the States.
Now, deep into the summer months, we bring you even more tracks to crank up and dance to. From England to Sweden to Norway to France to Jamaica, it’s clear that the worldwide theme of the year is Get Your Ass On The Floor.
10. Lilly Wood & The Prick — ”Prayer In C (Robin Shulz Remix)”
This French duo first rose to prominence in their home country in the late ’00s thanks to both their cover of Santigold’s “L.E.S. Artistes” and their own catchy alt-pop tunes. German producer Robin Shulz recently reworked the pair’s 2010 lament “Prayer In C” into a breezy dance track, leading the song to top the charts in no less than nine countries across Europe.

9. Mr. Probz — “Waves (Robin Shulz Remix)”
Dutch rapper Mr. Probz was looking to expand his horizons, and the first song he recorded after teaching himself to play the guitar was the ballad “Waves.” As he explained to Idolator recently, “There were like all these remixes and bootlegs out there. At first, I didn’t know what to do with it. Of course, it felt like a compliment for people to make something that is inspired by something that you made, so for me that’s like a pay it forward type of thing. The Robin Schulz version caught our eye when a UK label hit us up asking, ‘Can we please release a house remix?’ We were talking, and we were like, ‘Okay, if we’re going to do a move like this, that version makes the most sense.’ So, we contacted Robin’s people and decided to put it out officially.”
The result: A chart-topping single across Europe this past spring.
8. Jess Glynne — “Right Here”
You know British singer Jess Glynne from her featured vocals on Clean Bandit’s “Rather Be” and Route 94′s “My Love,” two of the year’s biggest house smashes. Her first breakout single as a solo artist is the Gorgon City-produced “Right Here,” currently a Top 10 hit in the UK.
