Remember that voucher that was supposed to be included in the Glee, Season 1 Volume I: Road To Sectionals DVD set—the one we mentioned yesterday that Variety reported about in late October? The trade publication initially wrote that the certificate was intended for customers to use toward the purchase of the full season 1 DVD collection upon its release sometime in 2010. But like a cold slushie to the face, there apparently is no voucher.

The first Glee DVD was released on Tuesday, and TV Shows On DVD notes the following: “Fox Home Entertainment has contacted us to clear this voucher situation up… Their publicity team tells us the information about vouchers is ‘completely inaccurate…they don’t exist and never did.’”

Geez, we’d have been griping about this ourselves if we weren’t still waiting for our copy to arrive from Amazon.
