Buble, 34, proposed to model Luisana Lopilato, 22, over the holidays.

“He proposed in Argentina, in front of Lu’s whole family,” a friend revealed. “They both cried — they’re ecstatic.”

Michael and Luisana met at a concert in Buenos Aries in November 2008. After the proposal, Michael and his new fiance took off to Hawaii for a vacation.

In Maui, Michael was spotted introducing his fiance to everyone. “He was introducing Lu to everyone in the restaurant, proudly proclaiming, ‘We’re engaged,’” says the source. “He was so happy to show her off.

“The next day Michael was sad because he had to put Lu on a private plane to Buenos Aires — she stars in an Argentine TV soap opera and she had to be on set. But she’ll be back in Vancouver or Los Angeles with him in a few weeks.”

So far the couple hasn’t set a date but their friend said, “They’re looking at some time next year.”
