Tila Tequila’s ex-boyfriend Shawne Merriman is countersuing her for allegedly spreading lies and attempting to ruin his reputation and career. Read more on Shawne Merriman’s lawsuit below.

The San Diego Chargers football star, Shawne Merriman, was arrested on suspicion of battery and false imprisonment back in September after Tila called police claiming he had choked her and kept her from leaving his property.

Merriman denied her claims and said he only stopped Tequila from leaving the house because she was “inebriated” and he didn’t want her to drive.

Merriman was freed from jail but Tila filed a lawsuit against him in November accusing him of assault, battery, false imprisonment and emotional distress. Tila also has photos as evidence and claims the bruises were from Merriman.

But now Shawne is countersuing Tila claiming she posted lies on her website and also said he did drugs and had sex with minors.
Merriman is suing for intentional interference with contract and unfair competition after losing out on an endorsement deal and copyright infringement because Tequila used his Lights Out logo on her webpage.

Tila Tequila is moving on from the incident and is reportedly engaged to Johnson &  Johnson heiress Casey Johnson.
