Actor and comedian, Russell Brand, was pushed into a fountain by a prankster as he was filming a movie in London’s Trafalgar Square. Read more on Russell Brand’s little swim below.
Brand was performing a “drunken” dance routine when a passerby got past security and grabbed Brand by the throat and pushed him underwater.
Russell Brand recovered for about 30 minutes in a tent before reappearing. Brand, 34, said he was not pressing charges against the prankster.
A witness said: “It only took a nudge, but the bloke used a bit of force. Brand was completely underwater. I expect he will have some bruises.”
Brand is playingthe role of rocker Aldous Snow (the character he played in Forgetting Sarah Marshall) in his movie “Get Him To The Greek” with Jonal Hill.
Russell later tweeted: “I am refreshed. It’s not the first time I’ve frolicked in that wretched fluid.”
