You know when you first meet someone and you forget the person’s name within five seconds of shaking hands, and you are truly astounded by your brain’s complete and utter betrayal? Well, when we introduce you to Royal Teeth‘s “Wild,” that will not happen. Partly because of the slyly captivating visuals, but mainly because of the song’s undeniable hook and unabashed exuberance.

The track sounds familiar, which could be due to its placement in a bunch of commercials, but more likely it’s in commercials because it sounds so instantly singable; that ooh-ooh chorus is one of the stickiest we’ve heard in quite some time. As for the video, it’s a pretty piece of flip-it-and-reverse-it time-warping. Check it out up top.

“Wild” is off Royal Teeth’s debut EP, Act Naturally. They’ll be playing SXSW next week and will release their first full-length later this year.
