Chunky orchestra hits, house piano chords and Roisin Murphy were simply made to go together. Case in point: the Irish singer’s new retro-sounding dance jam “Momma’s Place”—which is actually a massive improvement over her last single “Orally Fixated.”

Murphy gave birth to her daughter Clodagh Henwood in December. Thankfully, unlike some singers, it doesn’t appear as if she’ll be taking four years off to raise the little bugger. (Although, she has taken five months off from Twitter.) “Momma’s Place” is officially released on January 18 in the U.K. Give it a whirl below.
