After amassing a loyal following with their amazing YouTube covers (listen to their awesome response to Taylor Swift‘s “I Knew You Were Trouble”), British pop/R&B band Rixton is gearing up to release original material in the form of buzz track “Make Out”. And they are making sure everyone pays attention by spoofing a bunch of infamous music videos in the hilarious clip.
You can see an exclusive preview of their take on Miley Cyrus‘ “Wrecking Ball” above and a taste of their interpretation of Rihanna‘s “Stay” after the jump. It’s great that the guys can laugh at themselves. It’s also an indication that they are not your average four-piece band — they have the harmonies of One Direction but also know how to rock out like Fall Out Boy.
Oh and in case you’re worried that Jake, Charley, Danny and Lewi spend most of their time walking around in Miley drag, check them out sans make-up below. They meet the dreamy quota required by an upcoming band. No? “Make Out” drops October 22, so stay tuned for that.
And don’t forget to watch them impersonate RiRi. It’s pretty convincing!
