Rihanna joined Eminem to perform during his August 1 headlining set at Lollapalooza – making for one of the festival’s biggest surprises so far. The two teamed up for their mega-hit collaborations “Love the Way You Lie” and “The Monster,” before Rihanna tackled the hook in Eminem’s 2000 No. 1 hit “Stan,” a then-unexpected sample from Dido‘s “Thank You.”
Prior to Lollapalooza, Rihanna and Eminem had been preparing for their co-headlining Monster tour, which begins in less than a week. Their six-date trek begins August 7 in Los Angeles and ends August 22 and 23 with two shows at Eminem’s hometown Detroit. Until then, watch the two pop superstars tackle “Stan,” then see them reunite for “Love the Way You Lie” and “The Monster” after the jump.
