Olympic swimmer Amanda Beard and her husband Sacha Brown have welcomed a son! Read more on Amanda’s baby boy below.

The multi-gold medal winner and her photographer hubby welcomed their first child on Tuesday.

Blaise Ray Brown was born in Los Angeles, weighing 7 lbs., 12 oz., and was 19 inches long.

“I was in labor for about 16 hours and it was all worth it. He is happy and healthy and everything went as planned,” Beard told People. “It was the most amazing experience that Sacha and I have ever experienced. We are so happy to be new parents! This is gonna be the best adventure ever.”

Amanda Beard, 27, and Sacha Brown, 34, were married in May 2009 on Wakatobi, an island off southeastern Indonesia. Beard was almost 6 months pregnant at the time of their wedding.
