Separated from his dreamy-eyed big bros and the Mouse House, Nick Jonas, Solo Artist has really come into his own. In the modest, bare bones black-and-white vid for “Olive and an Arrow,” Nick and his Administration jam in the studio, and Jonas pulls off a falsetto Robin Thicke could be proud of. Not to mention, with his expressive facial expressions and ability to croon and work the guitar simultaneously, we get a major John Mayer vibe from him, too. (We hope that’s where the similarities end, as Nick discussing his solo bedroom habits to Rolling Stone might just be too much for us.) Watch the video below.

Not a whole lot going on in this minimalist video, but we’re sure all of Nick’s die-hard fans will appreciate just being able to see the multi-talented star do his thing.
