Former football star and DWTS contestant Lawrence Taylor was arrested in Miami and later released on bond for leaving the scene after a car accident. Read more on Lawrence Taylor’s arrest below.

Lawrence Taylor was charged on Sunday with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage which is a second-degree misdemeanor. Taylor was released on $500 bond later that night.

Lawrence Taylor was reportedly involved in a hit-and-run accident on Sunday in Hialeah. Taylor told police he thought he had hit a guard rail. There were no injuries and troopers didn’t conduct a sobriety test.

Taylor was a New York Giants linebacker that was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 1999.  Taylor also appeared on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” this year.
