NBC’s deal with Conan could be signed as early as Friday, giving O’Brien $30 million to leave.

The bigwigs at NBC were involved in all-night negotiations to come to the deal for Conan O’Brien.

NBC will pay Conan O’Brien $30 million to vacate the “Tonight Show”.  There was a dispute as to whether O’Brien’s contract guaranteed him a “Tonight Show” airing at “11:35 pm.”  But NBC and Conan’s team both maintain their positions but apparently have come to a compromise.

There are rumors that Fox wants to offer a deal to Conan O’Brien for a late night talk show.
