The Obama “party crashers” Michaele Salahi and husband Tareq Salahi said they did not crash the party and that they were invited to the State Dinner. The scary news is that Tareq Salahi has ties to the radical Palestinian and anti-semiite Rashid Khalidi (who also has ties with our current president). Read more on what Michaele and Tareq Salahi had to say on the Today Show video below.
The reality show couple say they were invited to the dinner and are hurt by the “party crasher” accusations.
“This has been the most devastating thing that’s ever happened to us,” Tareq Salahi, along with his wife Michaele, told Matt Lauer in the couple’s first television interview. “We’re greatly saddened by all the circumstances that have been involved in portraying my wife and I as party crashers. I can tell you we did not party crash the White House.”
The couple goes as far as saying the media attention has destroyed their lives. “Our lives have been destroyed, everything we’ve worked for, Matt,” Michaele Salahi said. “For me, 44 years, just destroyed.” A bit dramatic huh?
When they were asked by Matt Lauer if they were invited to the state dinner, they were quick to answer.
“We were invited, not crashers,” she said. “There isn’t anyone that would have the audacity or the poor behavior to do that … certainly not us.”
The Homeland Security Committee invited the Salahis and the Secret Service to attend a hearing on Thursday about the alleged security breach.
“We are cooperating extensively with the U.S. Secret Service on their internal review and investigation,” Tareq Salahi, 41, said, adding that the couple have turned over documentation showing that they were invited to the event. “The truth will come out.”
The Salahi’s were able to enter the party and be photographed with President Obama without being on the guest list or even have a formal invitation. Talk about an embarrassment to Obama and his security!
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs responded on Tuesday morning to the Salahi’s claims that they were invited to the event.
“They were not on a list here at the White House,” he told Meredith Vieira. “They’d been told on a number of occasions that they did not have tickets for that dinner.”
Gibbs added that the matter is being looked into “criminally” and that the Secret Service is doing “anything humanly possible” to prevent another such breach of security.
Something else quite interested reported by Habledash:
The latest juicy details about the White House party crashers Tareq and Michaele Salahi is that they have ties to the radical Palestinian and anti-Semite Rashid Khalidi. World Net Daily broke the news on Sunday and we’ll have to wait and see if the mainstream media picks up on the story that they couldn’t seem to ignore last week. Tareq Salahi, the husband of the hot babe Michaele, served on the board of the American Task Force for Palestine, where Khalidi served as vice president.
The American Task Force for Palestine has scrubbed Salahi’s and Khalidi’s names from their website, but a Google cache search of the site shows Salahi’s bio and his position. The Task Force basically lobbies for a Palestinian state and would like Israel to disappear. Taken from Aaron Klein at World Net Daily:
“The Task Force lobbies for a Palestinian state and demands the so-called right of return for Palestinian “refugees” – a formula Israeli officials across the political spectrum have warned could destroy Israel by population genocide, with the Jewish state forced to accept millions of Arabs, thus diluting its Jewish majority.”
The anti-Semite and pro-Palestine Khalidi has close ties to President Obama, which he has tried to hide – gee, another anti-Semite tied to Obama? Who would’ve thought! Khalidi was a professor at the University of Chicago at the same time as Obama. It was also reported, clearly not by the mainstream media, that the Obama’s and Khalidi’s dined together on a number of occasions, and that the Obama’s even babysat the Khalidi children. Khalidi also held a successful fundraiser for Obama’s failed bid for Congress in 2000.
What probably happened is that when Tareq and Michaele Salahi got to the gate and were denied entrance to the state dinner, they probably mentioned that they’re friends with the anti-Semite Rashid Khalidi and that was probably the green light to greet them with open arms!
Interesting huh?
