Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael is possibly facing being put in jail after failing to pay child support.
Michael Lohan has allegedly failed to pay child support on his children for over six months. His children include Ali, Michael Jr. and Dakota.
Michael Lohan has been paid to appear on television to publicly plead with his daughter Lindsay to seek professional help for her reported addiction to prescription drugs. Now Michael’s ex-wife Dina wants to see her estranged hubby pay up!
Dina Lohan plans to file court papers on Monday to get Michael to pay her what he owes her on the children.
Dina tells New York Post’s gossip column PageSix, “He is six months behind in his child support. On Monday, we will file a violation order, and if he doesn’t pay, he’ll go to jail. He’s getting paid for these shows he’s doing talking about Lindsay. He’s flying all over the country and not paying for his other three children he’s hurting every time he goes on television.”
Dina Lohan also says Michael is hurting his oldest daughter, Lindsay, and that she is planning to file a restraining order against her father. “He is hurting Lindsay. It breaks my heart. She’s like, ‘Mommy, when is he ever going to stop?’ It is horrific that a father could do this. We are afraid he’s spiralling out of control. Ali is scared and will be getting an order of protection. Lindsay is getting an order in California and in New York. “He’s desperate, he’s running out of options because none of his children are talking to him. Doors are closing for him, and he’s getting a little nervous, which makes us nervous. We’re scared. But I believe in karma, and his leash is getting tighter. He just needs to zip his mouth.”
