Officials are now stating that the cause of death listed for Michael Jackson, King of Pop, will “almost certainly” be homicide. Read more on the Michael Jackson death investigation below.
The LAPD has already been treating the investigation of Jackson’s death as a homicide for weeks, and recently documents were seized in what could lead to manslaughter charges.
Jackson’s autopsy reports are expected to be released next week, after the full toxicology results are known.
Homicide detectives conducted a raid, and Dr. Conrad Murray has now been named as a suspect in the case. He is the doctor that was with Jackson during the last hours of his life. E-mails, computer hard drives and some medications were seized from Conrad’s officers earlier in the week.
And recently it was revealed that authorities have found a secret stash containing “various drugs” – including Propofol (aka Diprivan), the powerful anesthetic believed to have killed Jackson… hidden in Dr. Conrad Murray’s closet at Michael’s home.
The discovery of Propofol in the room where Murray lived in Jackson’s home is certain to have an impact in the manslaughter case the Feds and the LAPD are mounting against the doctor.
