After dating for a year, Madonna and Brazilian model Jesus Luz have reportedly split. Read more on Madonna and Jesus’ split below.

Madonna and her young boyfriend Jesus Luz have ended their relationship.  The Chicago Sun Times reports the reasons behind the split include their age difference and that they don’t have much in common.

The paper stated, “It not only was totally amicable, but it was Luz who initiated the split.

A source close to Madonna said the singer stated, ” ‘We’ve just run out of things to talk about. I mean, it’s really pushing it for us to have common ground these days. We have Kabbalah, but that’s about it’.”

“The problem with Jesus is as simple as it is obvious. It’s the age difference. He’s 23. She’s 51,” the insider said. “How long could it last? How it even lasted a year seems a miracle to a lot of people. He’s perfectly nice, a gentleman and very smart. But they are in such different places in their lives.”

Ian Halperin has reported that Madonna was caught making out with a man in his seventies, a retired Wall Street executive.  A source said, “They’re definitely an item.”

We seriously doubt Madonna has gone from a 23 year-old model to a man in his seventies but this is Madonna so who knows?

Madonna and Jesus Luz started dating after their photoshot for W Magazine in Rio de Janeiro in January 2009.
