But on May 26, he and his Young Money signee Lil Twist took less than a minute to send a message to Justin Bieber‘s manager Scooter Braun. (Brace yourself.) “I heard this bitch ass n—- Scooter talkin’ shit about my little brother,” he said, adding, “Anything you got to say, when you see me say it to my motherfuckin’ face. And if you do happen to say it to my motherfuckin’ face, I ain’t gonna make you eat them words, n—-. I’ma put them bitches on your tombstone.” See the video below.
Weezy’s talking about headlines from all throughout last year, when Braun reportedly asked Bieber to sever ties with Lil Twist. Unfortunately that rumor sounded believable, as both stars (and longtime friends) were under major scrutiny. Earlier in 2013, the Journals star was caught smoking marijuana at a hotel party with Lil Twist in attendance. Lil Twist would later be arrested after running a red light, for driving under the influence, before he moved out Bieber’s Calabasas, Calfornia home. (Reports suggested that he was kicked out.)
Since then, Lil Twist has accused Braun of portraying him as a negative influence on Bieber. There’s a few heartening takeaways from this: According to the DJ Scoob Doo-directed video, Weezy, Twist and Bieber remain friends. Also, it’s rare to see any label boss stick up for his signees like this. But the video also raises yet another question about the whole tabloid-fueled mess – mainly, why did Weezy wait until now to respond?
