Stephen Schafer, 38, was pronounced dead at the Martin Memorial Medical Center yesterday after being attacked by several sharks in Florida while kite surfing.

The Los Angeles Times stated that young great white sharks are suspected in the Stuart Beach shark attack.

There were reports of schools of sharks were spotted off Palm Beach this morning, a day after Stephen Schafer was attacked.

The last shark attack in Florida was in 2005 when a 14 year-old girl was killed.
