Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez and TLC will be performing at the 2013 American Music Awards, joining an already jam-packed lineup. Perry will open up the show with “Unconditionally,” and TLC will be joined by “a special guest.” Our money’s on J. Cole. Or maybe TLC diehard Drake.
Interestingly, none of the three added acts are nominated for any awards this year. They’ll take the stage along with Miley Cyrus, One Direction, Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and others on the lengthy roster of performers. The broadcast will also boast the first time Lady Gaga and R. Kelly perform their hit “Do What U Want” together, and the night’s host, Pitbull, will perform “Timber” with Ke$ha. And somewhere in there some awards will be handed out.
The AMAs air November 24 on ABC.
