Singer Katy Perry has purchased an engagement gift for her fiance Russell Brand, a new Range Rover as well as driving lessons! Read more on Brand’s gift below.

Katy Perry bought her British comic boyfriend, Russell Brand, a Range Rover and driving lessons after Brand purchased a mansion in Los Angeles to be close to her girlfriend.

The car will be kept at the home they share in Los Angeles.

An insider tells RadarOnline.com, “Katy told Russell, ‘Now that I’ve got a house, you’re going to be spending a lot of time in LA’.”
Brand can’t drive, so Perry has offered to pay for driving lessons too.

The couple is currently vacationing in India, where Katy got a henna tattoo on her arm.

Katy updated her Twitter with a photo of her new henna tattoo:

Posting the picture Twitter, Katy wrote: “I’m typing this with one hand… Isn’t it lovely? It’s Henna! (sic)”

She rang in the New Year by posting a message to her friends in the US: “Just so you guys in LA that are about to experience 2010… It’s noon on Jan 1st here in the future, let me tell you 2010 is BUMPIN!”
