Justin Bieber‘s claims of retirement are “greatly exaggerated,” according to one Toronto producer. Douglas Romanow of Noble Street Studios posted a photo of him (right) with Bieber on January 1, as proof that the Believe star is still working. “I have spent much of this holiday season recording this talented artist,” Romanow says.
Bieber has said that he is retiring from music twice, most recently on Christmas Eve and just one day after he released Journals, because of negative media attention. “They make a up a lot of lies and want me to fail,” he has said, repeating himself to the point where fans adapted “CONVERT THE HATERS” as a reason to support his second concert doc Believe, which debuted in theaters soon thereafter.
At the time, Bieber’s claims sounded like a publicity stunt for his year-end projects. Right now, though, so do Romanow’s claims, posted twice on Twitter and once on his official website that also lists Bieber under “Current Projects,” a great deal of effort in less than 24 hours to bring attention to it all.
