Britney Spears will continue to be under her father Jamie’s guidance for a while longer. Read more on the judge’s decision below.
A judge has ruled that Britney Spears’ conservatorship will be extended. This will mean her father, Jamie Spears, will still be in charge of her affairs.
There are no reports of just how long the conservatorship is extended, but lawyers believe it will be at least six months to a year.
The ruling states that Jaime will continue to receive $16,000 per month. And theo-conservator Andrew Wallet will also receive $174,000 as payment for services rendered.
The next hearing is reportedly scheduled for January 14.
This past summer Jaime asked the court to review the conservatorship. He couldn’t ask for it to end but did request a review to see if his daughter should be allowed to have control of her own personal and business affairs.
Britney Spears seems to be doing so well these days, it makes you wonder why the judge felt it necessary to extend the conservatorship.
