The mother of  actor Jude Law’s fourth child has been revealed to be model/actress Samantha Burke. Read more on this story and how Jude learned of Burke’s pregnancy!

Samantha Burke’s lawyer in Florida confirmed his client and Jude Law are expecting a child.

“Ms Burke … did in fact have a relationship with Mr Law and she has informed Mr Law she is expecting his child later this fall,” the lawyer was quoted on TMZ as saying.

“Since informing Mr Law of the pregnancy, he has been nothing but responsive and supportive of Ms Burke and the pregnancy.”

Here’s the sad part… when Samantha Burke was going to tell Jude Law she was pregnant, she dialed the cell phone number he gave her and it was disconnected.

So Burke had to contact Jude through his publicity office to give him the news.

RadarOnline reported that Burke was modeling in New York when she met Jude Law.

“Samantha was telling pals in Florida back in the beginning of the year that she and Jude were hooking up,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “He insisted on not wearing any protection and soon she became pregnant.

“At first, we didn’t believe her.”

But Samantha started showing, and began to post pregnant pictures of herself on her Facebook page.

“Samantha was trying to reach Jude to tell him she was having his child but she couldn’t get a hold of him,” said the source.

“He had given her a cell phone number but it was no longer working and Jude was working on a film.

“Finally, Samantha contacted Jude-through his publicist!

“She had to go through his PR person to inform him she was pregnant with his child, a baby girl she’s already named Sophia!

“I don’t think he believed her, at first.

“But she passed a DNA test so he had no choice but to recognize the fact that he was the dad.”

According to The Sun newspaper, Burke is planning on “taking Law to the cleaners” after hiring a high-powered lawyer.

“Jude is terrified he will be cleaned out … her family are also furious he’s had his way and disappeared back to Britain,” a source was quoted as saying.

“The girl wants a large maintenance payment and financial costs, including a percentage of Jude’s future earnings, agreed in writing.”

This will make child number four for Law. He has three children with his ex, Sadie Frost.
