Actress Laura Smet, the daughter of “French Elvis” Johnny Hallyday and movie star Nathalie Gaye, was rushed to the hospital following a suicide attempt in Paris. Read more on Laura Smet below.

Actress Laura Smet, 26, was rushed to Hopital du Val-de-Grace by ambulance on Monday afternoon after her boyfriend Julien Delajoux called 911.

Smet was said to have taken alcohol and medication near St Germain Des Pres church. Paramedics administered first aid at the scene and then rushed Smet to the hospital, where she is reportedly recovering from suicide attempt.

Just yesterday, Laura Smet had given an interview to French newspaper JDD in which she revealed she felt torn between her love for her father and her loyalty towards her boyfriend Delajoux.
