Actor John Stamos was reportedly the target of an extortion plot planned by two people from Michigan, Allison Coss and Scott Sippola. Read more on the the arrests in the case below.

Two Michigan residents were arrested after threatening to leak photos that could possibly hurt John Stamos’ reputation, that were taken at a party in Florida.

The FBI affidavit shows the photos were taken at a party in Florida, where John Stamos was on vacation.

FBI agents arrested Allison Coss, 23, and Scott Sippola, 30, last week.

Stamos reportedly went to a part with Allison Coss and her friend back in 2004 and photos were taken of Stamos at the party. Since that time Stamos has been in contact with Coss through her Hotmail account.

Actor John Stamos had received several e-mails from a man identifying himself as “Brian L,” who claimed he had “discovered the pictures taken during the 2004 party in Florida, and that such pictures would cause harm to Mr. X’s reputation if released to the media.”

In exchange for not leaking the photos, the man wanted $680,000.

Allison Coss was said to have “continued to communicate with Mr. X and was fully aware of the demands being made by ‘Brian L.’”

Stamos’s lawyer contacted the FBI on November 28 and agents began surveilling Coss and her male companion, who was identified as Scott Sippola. The alleged extortionists were arrested this past Wednesday shortly after an undercover agent, “posing as a representative of Mr. X,” arranged with “Brian L” a money drop at a Princeton, Michigan airport.

The home shared by Allison Coss and  Scott Sippola, who worked together at a nightclub, was searched and agents found photos of John Stamos, a paper with the actor’s cell number, and the phone numbers of three tabloids.

Both Coss and Sippola were released on bond on Wednesday and ordered not to have any contact with “the alleged victim.”

Hmmm…makes you wonder what exactly John Stamos was doing in those photos huh?
