The Muppets are defiantly making their welcome return to the world of pop culture, which is win-win for us all. The funny furry friends tackled Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” and hooked up with Jason Segal to develop the first big-screen Muppet movie in over ten years, while leader of the pack Kermit even escorted Lady Gaga to the VMAs (to show there are no hard feelings after she awkwardly turned him into a coat). Now the Muppets are on the boob tube this week, performing “The Twelve Days of Christmas” with The Roots on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. It’s just a matter of time til The Muppet Show is back on the air and we’ve got Miss Piggy releasing her own pop album. Fingers crossed! Vid of the whole felt-made gang singing the x-mas clasic after the jump.

Note to Saturday Night Live: If you’re going to do The Muppets, nothing is better than the real thing.
