Ioan Gruffudd and Alice Evans have welcomed their first child on Sunday. Read more for details on Gruffudd and Evans’ baby girl below.

The Fantastic Four actor, Ioan Gruffudd, and his Lost actress wife, Alice, welcomed daughter Ella Betsi Evans Gruffudd at 2:16 a.m. on Sunday, September 6th after 40 hours of labor. Baby Ella weighed in at 6 lbs., 3 oz and was 21 inches long.

The couple reportedly met while filming 102 Dalmatians in 2002 and married in 2007. They announced the pregnancy in April.

Ioan, 35, and Alice, 38, knew the sex of the baby prior to delivery, but kept it a secret.

Ioan Gruffudd spoke of becoming a father,

“I’m sure we have no idea what we are heading into. But we both love each other so much and really hope that we will create an environment of love and happiness.”
