Iggy Azalea opens up on her past dating woes in “Rolex,” a bonus track off her major-label debut The New Classic. While the moody song draws broad comparisons between the luxury brand and time spent in a failed relationship, one line in particular points to exactly who’s responsible. “I got you tatted, you took off before the ink dried on my hands,” she spits.
When Azalea first started to gain attention as a rapper, she sparked rumors of dating Harlem’s own A$AP Rocky with one hell of a clue: the words Live Love A$VP tattooed on her fingers, to match a The New Classic tattoo on the opposite hand. She quickly confirmed that the two were dating (“I love him and that’s all there is to it,” she said to VIBE), only for Rocky to move on to model Chanel Iman.
Azalea’s The New Classic is available today (April 21) on iTunes, a day earlier than scheduled. Hear “Rolex” after the jump.
