The comeback of the year (or perhaps the millennium) is almost upon us! We know that Hilary Duff is unveiling her new single at Marquee nightclub in New York City on July 24 but the crazily-anticipated jam now has a name. According to several pop sites, the Ed Sheeran-penned opus is called “Chasing The Sun” and there’s even promotional artwork (above).
In a recent interview, Ed described the song as “good” — which is a relief — and declared that Hil is going for “more of an adult alternative acoustic sound”. Sounds promising. “Chasing The Sun” has a lot to live up to, particularly given Charli XCX‘s recent revelation that “Boom Clap” was written for (but rejected by) the girl formerly known as Lizzie Mcguire.
