Gary Coleman was taken to the hospital after suffering what appeared to be a seizure. Read more on Gary Coleman’s condition below.

Gary Coleman was taken to the hospital at 8:03 AM from the Custom Hotel in Los Angeles.

Coleman’s rep say he is doing fine, but people around Coleman said he seemed to have had some type of seizure.

The former child star was sitting on the bed with a friend and had a seizure, 911 was called.

Coleman was asked basic questions like “What month is it?” and whether or not he knew the name of anyone in the room. Coleman was unable to answer.

Gary Coleman was in Los Angeles doing interviews to promote “Midgets vs. Mascots.”  Gary had done several  interviews before being taken to the hospital.

“He’s fine,” Coleman’s rep, Robert Malcolm, said. “It was precautionary and they are going to run some tests.”
