To ring in the New Year, Foster The People on December 31 posted a teaser video along with the caption “We’re Back. Here’s a glimpse of 2014.” There’s not much to work with in the 45-second clip, but it features a snippet of a new song that opens with chunky pianos, and eventually some danceable percussion drops in as polished guitar lines slice through.

The only lyrics heard come at the end, with Mark Foster singing “Feels like, feels like we’re coming of age.” The as-yet-untitled followup to their breakout 2011 debut, Torches, is set for a 2014 release. Hear the snippet of new material below.
