Wrestler Edward “Eddie” Fatu, who is known to WWE fans as Umaga, died Friday afternoon after having a heart attack. Umaga was 36 years-old. Read more on Fatu’s death below.
Eddie Fatu, 36, was part of the legendary Anoa’I wrestling family and is Dwayne Johnson’s cousin (”The Rock”).
Umaga won the WWE Intercontinental title twice and was nicknamed the “Samoan Bulldozer” but the WWE fired Fatu this summer over his refusal to enter a rehab facility.

The Los Angeles Times reported that Fatu’s wife found him unconscious with blood coming from his nose.
In a statement on its website, the WWE said it “would like to express its deepest condolences to Mr. Fatu’s family, friends and fans on his tragic passing.”
