A clump of dark hair that is believed to be from Elvis Presley has sold for $15,000 at an auction house in Chicago. Read more and see video of the story below.
The hair is reportedly from Elvis Presley’s head from his haircut when he joined the Army in 1958.
Other items of Elvis Presley’s that were up for auction at the Leslie Hindman Auctioneers in Chicago on Sunday was one of the King’s shirts that sold for $52,000.
Some other items of Elvis’ included included scarves, photos from the reception of Presley’s 1967 wedding to Priscilla, Christmas cards he sent and lots of records.
The items in the auction had belonged to the late Gary Pepper, who ran a fan club and was a friend of Elvis Presley’s.
