Eddie Furlong’s estranged wife, Rachael Kneeland, wants to drop the restraining order she filed against him. Read what the previously feuding couple had to say below.
Rachael Kneeland (also known as Rachael Bella) says they are attempting to keep their divorce amicable.
“We’re actually friends. We’re not having a bad divorce,” Rachael Kneeland says. “We just ran into some issues. Eddie did some things to prove to me that he’s back on track with his life and that’s all I wanted.”
Eddie Furlong, who has a 3-year-old son with Rachael, told People magazine: “I am glad all of the drama has subsided.”
“Unfortunately, custody battles can get nastier than I ever imagined,” the Terminator 2 star said. “All allegations have been withdrawn and Rachael and I are continuing to move forward in settling our differences and getting on with our lives. The most important thing to me is my son, Ethan, and being the best parent I can.”
Rachael had filed court documents last month stating that Furlong’s “drug use has escalated along with attacking me and threatening my life.” She also said that Eddie had recently been hospitalized “on lockdown” after threatening suicide.
Furlong’s rep stated that the allegations by Rachael were false, and that the actor had been sober for five years and was getting ready for a new film, The Green Hornet.
