It’s a big day for English songsmith Ed Sheeran. The lovable Brit announced new single “Sing” (apparently inspired by Justin Timberlake), revealed the title of sophomore LP X (pronounced ‘multiply’) and covers the latest edition of Billboard magazine. It’s a moody cover, which reflects the somewhat ominous headline “The Angst Of Ed Sheeran”.
What does the talented redhead have to be so anxious about? Well, for starters, the new album contains his most confessional love song to date. Ed says the untitled song is a “100 percent true” story about an ex-lover. “If you date a songwriter, be prepared to have songs written about you,” the + singer states. This is what happens when you spend too much time around Taylor Swift. He also talks about his growing fanbase (“I want to headline a stadium”) and his wardrobe (“I’m coming around to dressing a bit better”).
