Actor Dennis Hopper’s fifth wife is accusing her husband of threatening to kill her and of smoking pot in front of their six-year-old daughter. Read more on what ailing Dennis Hopper and his wife’s ugly divorce below.

Cancer stricken Dennis Hopper, 73, has filed for divorce from Victoria Duffy.

Victoria and Dennis have been married since 1996 and is fighting for custody of their daughter, Galen, 6, and child/spousal support.

In divorce documents, Victoria Duffy claims Hopper once “threatened to ‘end’ (Victoria) if (she) ever tried to leave him”. Duffy also says Hopper leaves loaded weapons where their child can reach them.  In addition, Dennis’ estranged wife says the actor smokes marijuana in front of their young daughter.

Victoria says Hopper told her he doesn’t actually want the divorce, but that his family wants him to cut her out of any financial gain.

Dennis Hopper was diagnosed with prostate cancer several months ago.
