Soap star Frances Reid, who played Alice Horton on “Days Of Our Lives”, has died at 95. Read more on Frances Reid’s death below.
Frances Reid played the role of Alice Horton for 42 years on the soap opera “Days of our Lives”. The actress died on February 3 at the age of 95.
The actress began her career with a small part in the movie “Man-Proof” in 1938 and went on to land many jobs on Broadway.
Frances played on the soap opera “Portia Faces Life” before her role as Alice Horton in “Days of our Lives”.
Reid won a Lifetime Achievement Award for her role at the 2004 Daytime Emmy awards.
Frances Reid’s final appearance on Days of our Lives was in December 2007.
Reid married actor Philip Bourneuf in 1940 and he passed away in 1979.
