“I want to die in your arms,” Chris Martin sings in Coldplay‘s “A Sky Full of Stars,” off its next album Ghost Stories. Before the band would perform that on the May 3 episode of Saturday Night Live, though, Martin popped up in a sketch featuring host Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, stars of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (out in theaters).
Martin’s job? To show Stone how an iconic Hollywood kiss is done.
He stretches, then requests a wig. He dips Garfield. “Now you listen to me, you beautiful spidery man,” he says. “With great power comes great responsibility, and our responsibility right now is to make sweet, sweet love. So, why don’t you go ahead and show me your beautiful tongue?” Garfield responds as Miley Cyrus would.
Was it all “Yellow” for those two? Not exactly. Watch the Spider-Man make-out session up top.
